1. Import and Select DVD Movies

Install and run the downloaded Xinfire DVD Ripper, and then insert the DVD disc into your PC’s DVD drive. The DVD ripping software will automatically detect the inserted DVD disc. Then click the “Click to Load DVD” button in the middle of the UI, You can then choose the video subtitles you prefer. Plus, if you want to rip the movie into one .avi file, you can click the” Merge” button in the lower left-corner of the pop-out window after you clicking the load DVD button. Then click the “Ok” button, the chosen movie titles will automatically add as source files.

2. Edit Videos (Optional)

This is an optional step. If you just want to get the original film, then skip it over. If you need to customize your output video or audio files, click the Set icon on the right side of the file. In the window that comes up, you can reset the Codec, Video Size, Sample Rate, Frame Rate, Audio Channel, as well as Video/Audio Bitrate, etc. you can also click the “Clip” and “Edit” button on the right side of the file to edit videos by clipping, cropping, adding subtitles, watermark and adjusting Brightness, Hue, Saturation as well as Contrast.

3. Specify an Output Format and an Output Folder

Click the drop-down list of the “Output Format” and choose a video format or if you want to play converted video on your portable device; you can directly choose the target playback device. Here we specify AVI as the output video format. Meanwhile, click the drop-down list of the “Output Path” to set a destination folder to save the converted AVI files.

4. Rip and Convert DVD to Popular Video Format

When you get everything done, click the “Start” button to begin ripping and converting DVD to other popular video files.
